Ken Hale, GC
Design Engineer
Ken Hale brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry to the table with an extensive background in designing and executing complex projects. Ken is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina and his areas of specialty include building enclosures, large commercial millwork projects, and high-end residential homes. His remodeling experience has cultivated a passion for building science, with a focus on water management. At Fleming & Associates Ken works within our building enclosures department with a focus on designing curtain wall replacements and low slope roofing systems.
Before joining Fleming and Associates, Ken operated a successful construction company specializing in design-build residential projects and commercial millwork engineering services. Prior to that, he was a millwork engineer and engineering manager at Wilkie Sanderson, where he led a team of 12 engineers. While at Wilkie Sanderson, he engineered and 3D-modeled components for some of their most complex projects, including monumental staircases, performing arts centers, and corporate interiors. He particularly enjoys the challenge of complex projects where he can apply his expertise in parametric 3D modeling to ensure that the design meets the client’s requirements.
